Mary Sloan, the little daughter of John Sloan, died May 27 at about 12 o'clock, aged 5 years. She had been seriously ill for the last four weeks, most of the time but little hope being entertained of her recovery. The sympathy of a large circle of friends will go out to the afflicted parents in their sad bereavement. -thanks Kim H

Mrs. Mary Davis of Terre Haute attended the funeral of little Mary Sloan last Monday.
The funeral of Mary, the five-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sloan, occurred from the residence of David Divine, on west Main street. Monday morning at 10 o’clock Rev. JR Cunningham officiating. The interment took place at Oak Hill.
